User Guide
Create a weekly school or college timetable in a few minutes. Everything runs in your browser, so your data stays on your device.
Step 1: School information
- Enter the school name. It appears at the top of the timetable.
- Optionally upload a logo (PNG or JPG). It is shown in the page header.
- Choose the section type (K.G, Middle, High, College) or pick Other and type your own.
Step 2: Timing configuration
- Total periods: number of periods per day (1–15), not counting the break.
- Opening time and Off time: when school starts and ends.
- Period timing: length of each period in minutes. The 1st period is automatically 10 minutes longer.
- Break after / Break duration: the break is placed after the chosen period.
- If the day runs past your off time, a warning appears after you generate. Reduce the periods, period length or break.
Step 3: Classes and sections
- Tick each class you want. Tick its sections if it has any (A, B, C, D, G or a custom one).
- Enter the in-charge teacher for each class or section. The name must match a teacher in Step 4. That teacher is given the 1st period of their class every day.
- If one teacher is in charge of several classes, they take the 1st period of a different class each day.
Step 4: Subjects and teachers
- Add each subject and its teacher.
- If a subject has more than one teacher, separate the names with commas, for example Mr. Ali, Mrs. Sara. The classes are shared equally between them.
- Use the same spelling for a teacher everywhere. Capital letters do not matter.
- Click + Add Subject for more rows, or ✖ to remove one.
Generate the timetable
- Class-Wise: one row per class for each day, showing the subject and teacher in every period.
- Teacher-Wise: one row per teacher for each day, showing which class they teach. Gaps show as Free.
- Each subject gets an equal share of periods per week, and no teacher is placed in two classes at the same time.
- Free Period means no teacher was available for that class at that time. Add more teachers to fix it.
- Yellow warnings above the table point out problems such as a missing in-charge or an overloaded teacher.
Download and save your timetable
- Word (.doc): downloads a file you can open in Microsoft Word.
- Excel (.xls): downloads a file you can open in Microsoft Excel.
- Print / PDF: opens the print window. Choose Save as PDF as the printer, or print on paper. Landscape layout is used.
Important: after downloading, open the Word file and use File → Save As to save it as a Word Document (.docx) on your PC. Do the same for Excel and save it as an Excel Workbook (.xlsx). Saving in the format that matches the Microsoft Office version on your PC keeps the file working properly. If Excel shows a message that the file format and extension do not match, click Yes to open it, then save it as .xlsx.
Tips
- To change something, edit your details and generate again. A new timetable replaces the old one.
- The app can be installed from your browser menu and used offline.
- Your school data is never uploaded. Closing or refreshing the page clears it, so download your timetable first.
